N.Sarkozy: International community does not want “cold war” back
The international community does not want to bring back “the cold war”. The French President Nikola Sarkozy claimed it.
"Nobody wants to bring “the cold war” back. NATO is not Russia’s rival, it is its partner, - said Sarkozy. - Speaking about the European Union, it would like to build up positive and substantial relations with this country. Russia will have to make its choice”.
The President of France, the country presiding in the European Union now, noted that the European Union would be able to work out a method of further cooperation with Russia during an extraordinary summit on September 1.
