North Korea fires three missiles

The DPRK has fired 3 short-range missiles into its its eastern waters. 2 missiles were fired on the morning of May 18 and the third one – at midday. The missiles fell into the sea, RBK reports.

The situation in the Korean peninsula has been tense since the beginning of the year. Pyongyang has switched to military rhetoric with South Korea and the USA after 3 missile tests and is conducting maneuvers in the border zone. North Korea often transports guided-missile systems Musudan across its territory.
