Nomination of candidates for House of Representatives starts today

The nomination of candidates for the House of Representatives will start on July 20 and end on August 18. District election commissions have already been created. According to the legislation, candidates can be nominated by political parties, work groups and citizens by colleting signatures. Candidates for the House of Representatives should be Belarusian citizens over 21 years old. They should not have previous convictions and should be residents of the country.
 
According to the head of the Central Election Commission Lidziya Yarmoshyna, there will be about 6 candidates per every seat.

Let us remind you that the President has appointed the elections of deputies running for the House of Representatives of the fourth convocation for September 28.
