There will be no football matches at the Dynamo Stadium in Minsk until the European Games, the press service of FC Dynamo-Minsk reports. The team's home matches in April-June will be held at the Tractor stadium. The reason for this decision is the "unsatisfactory condition" of the lawn, which must be urgently "reanimated" to be ready for the international competitions.

The national football team of Belarus will not play at the Dynamo stadium either. The qualifying matches of Euro 2020 with a team from Germany (June 8) and Northern Ireland (June 11) will be held at the Barysau Arena.

According to Euroradio, the first football match of this season took place on April 14 at the Dynamo Minsk stadium. FC Dinamo-Minsk played FC Gorodeya. It turned out that the lawn was bald. With only two months before the European Games, the situation outraged Alyaksandr Lukashenka. According to one of the versions, the lawn was damaged at the end of last season, when the snow was cleaned and in some places it was cleaned with grass to prepare it for the football match.

The Second Eurogames will open in Belarus on June 21.
