Nine democratic candidates are refused registration

At least nine deputy contenders of the United Democratic Forces have been refused registration for the election of deputies of the House of Representatives. According to the preliminary information, three members of the Communist Party of Belarus, two members of Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Hramada) and of the United Civil Party, one member of BNF and of a civil association “Belarusian Christian Democracy” have been refused registration.

BelaPAN reports that the main reason for the refusal was fake signatures of electors.

Nine representatives of the BCP and UCP and seven representatives of the BCDP (Hramada) haven already been registered as deputy contenders.
