New barricades appear in Maidan
The current Maidan participants are getting ready for an assault.
New barricades have appeared in Institutskaya and Mikhailovskaya Streets, UNIAN reports. Institutskaya Street is blocked with rubbish and pieces of concrete from the House of Trade Unions. A dump truck is a part of the barricade in Mikhailovskaya Streets. The entrances to the metro station Maidan Nezalezhnosti are blocked with tires.
There are about 300 people in Maidan but men armed with guns and batons are guarding the holes in the barricades.
