New aquapark to be constructed in Magiljou
Apart from swimming pools and various water attractions, the future complex will include an ice ring, tennis courts, pool tables, gyms, a restaurant, cafes and many other things.
The EUR8.5 million project is thought to pay back within 4-5 years.
Only one year and a half are available for the construction.
The city authorities are to propose investors to choose several potential sites, e.g. at the Palace of Culture and Technics near the city center or in the village of Bujnicy where a zoo and the Belarusian Village entertainment complex are already based. The aquapark will occupy almost 12,000 sq. m. of land.
It is planned to work throughout the year to attract both the local residents and tourists from other regions, reports Zviazda newspaper.
