Moscow responds to US suggestion about negotiations with Kiev

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry offered negotiations with Russia, Ukraine, the USA and European Union in a phone conversation with Sergey Lavrov yesterday.

The Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs said that Russia was ready to consider a large-scale format of settling the situation in Ukraine, ITAR-TASS reports.  No exact date was mentioned in his conversation with Kerry, he noted.

"We want South and East Ukraine to be represented at such negotiations,” Sergey Lavrov said. It means that this will be the main term for the Russia-USA-EU-Ukraine negotiations.
