Montenegro arrests Serbian general wanted by UN court

Former Serbian police general Vlastimir Djodjavic, wanted by the UN war tribunal for the war crimes in the former Yugoslavia, has been arrested in Montenegro, the tribunal spokesman Anton Nikiforov announced on Sunday.
He said Djordjavoc was being transferred to the Hague. Nikiforov would not elaborate on the details of the arrest operation.

Vlastilin Djordjavic is wanted by the Hage Tribunal for his connection to the massacre of Kosovo Albanians during the conflict in 1999.

The former police general repeatedly denied accusations of plotting ethinic cleansings on the territory of the Kosovo province, reports AFP.
