The Moldova's hydro power plant, owned by the Russian company Inter RAO EES, has started shipments of electrical energy to Belarus, station's director Sergei Syskov told the Trans-Dniestr state television channel.
He noted that electricity tariffs for Belarus would amount to 4.5 cents per 1 kW/hour. The costs are likely to remain unchanged in 2008, reports RosBusinessConsulting.
