Moldavian police tortures opposition members (photo)
The European Union demands an independent investigation of April clashes in Kishinev. The opposition claims that severe repressions still continue.
The opposition has sent photos of 23-year-old Domian Hantsu to Xavier Solana. The guy has black eyes, broken fingers and bruises on his shoulders. The police tortured the guy to make him sign documents saying that the opposition had paid him for taking part in actions.
Adherents of the pro-European opposition organized clashes in the centre of Kishinev on April 7 demanding to reconsider the results of the elections that had brought victory to communists.
