Minsk authorities make list of closed shops
ERB has found out that the administration of a shopping centre “Manetka” has been ordered to make a list of all entrepreneurs that did not open their shops on January 3. Savetski District Officials wrote down all shops that were closed on that day.
The administration of a trade centre ‘Manetka” situated not far from Kamarouski Market is phoning all entrepreneurs that did not work on January 3. Representatives of Savetski District Executive Committee organized a raid and made a list of closed shops on that day.
The administration has to present a report providing the officials with reasons for the shops being closed on that day. A private entrepreneur who recorded his talk to a representative of “Manetka”’s administration informed ERB about it.
Administration of “Manetka”: “There was a check-up organized by the Executive Committee on January 3. Your shop was closed. Why? We have received an order to find out the reason. A woman from the Executive Committee wrote down all shops that were closed on January 3”.
PE: “When do you have to answer them?”
Administration of “Manetka”: “It would be better to do it right now. The administrator of the shop floor is going to prepare documents with explanations why shops were not working and bring them to the Executive Committee soon”.
