Ministry of Justice refused to register Tell the Truth again
The reason for the refusal was the fact that the list of names of elected co-leaders of the campaign did not contain the number of people.
Nevertheless, leader of Tell the Truth Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu was not surprised. It was interesting to know the new reason for the refusal, he said.
Nyaklyayeu: “The violation was like that: we made a list of five co-leaders but did not indicate that there were five people on the list! It seems that the Ministry of Justice cannot count to five because there are no mathematics faculty graduates there.”
The authorities want to keep the campaign under contact pressure and are threatening to punish its memebrs for membership in an unregistered organization, Nyaklyayeu thinks.
Nevertheless, the refusal will not affect the work of the campaign – it will continue functioning as usual, he said.
