Ministry of Internal Affairs refutes information about detention of phone terrorist

The Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs has refuted the information about the detention of the phone terrorist who “mined” the Kaliningrad-Moscow train. The deputy head of the information and public relations department of Belarus Kanstantsin Shalkevich has informed BelTA about it. According to the policeman, there is only a suspect who has not been detained. Investigators may even be mistaken.

Let us remind you that Orsha police were informed about the terrorist by their colleagues from Smolensk Internal Affairs department on January 5 at 11 p.m.

The 16-car train was stopped in the second track of the southern side of Orsha railway. 536 passengers were evacuated to the building of the terminal on January 6 at 1.07 a.m.
The examination of the train proved that the information about the mining was false. The train left for Moscow at 3.30 a.m. The delay was more than 2 hours.
