Military Academy officer killed, 5 cadets wounded at firing grounds
TNT block explodes suddenly killing a Military Academy officer and wounding five field engineering cadets near Minsk.
The incident occurred during a military field engineering class, interfax.by reports. Lt Col Barys Listapad who had 20 years of experience in dealing with explosives died. Five students received various traumas.
The reason for the explosion is being studied, the Ministry of Defence reported. Assistance will be rendered to the families of the killed officer and injured students according to the law.
