MFA: Snowden did not ask Belarus for political asylum

Edward Snowden has never contacted representatives of Belarus, RIA Novosti reports. Savinyh has refuted the rumours about Snowden’s intention to head for Minsk from Moscow.
The USA is searching for the former CIA employee for disclosing secret information. Snowden has to leave for Havana on June 24. However, he is still in the transit area in Sheremetyevo Airport.
