‘Prohibition day’ in Belarus on May 30
Spirits and beer will not be sold in Belarus on May 30, BelaPAN reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Trade. This measure has been introduced because May 30 is the last school day.
The ban will be introduced at 12 a.m. on May 30 and will last until 12 a.m. on May 31.
There will be only one exception: sprits will still be served in cafes and restaurants. Another prohibition will come into force on the day of graduation parties and will last even longer – from 12 a.m. on June 10 until 8 a.m. on June 11.
