Mass fight in Minsk centre (Photo report)

More than two hundred young people have come to grips in Yanka Kupala Park. There are victims.
The incident occurred at about 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15. A group of young people was celebrating the 599th anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald near the fountain in Yanka Kupala Square. Their bellicose shouts could be heard even in the Trinity suburb. People’s blood was up.

- Hey, Teutons, do you want to assay Belarusian strength? We will show it to you! – shouted the first rows of the army of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and of the Polish Kingdom.
- Schweine! – snarled the Teutonic army.

Both crowds started stomping their feet, the young people put up their weapons and attacked each other. Guys and girls, thin and fat, young and old met in the fight. The originality of the weapons is worth mentioning.

- Here, be hit in your nape, - shouted a girl and hit a Teutonic guy with a pillow.
- Farewell, woman. I did not want to do harm to you. But we will fight with you once more, although we will need a sofa for your pillow, - said the beaten guy.
Litvins and Teutons fought for about an hour. They kept hitting each other with normal, cute and ornamental pillows full-blast.

Let us remind you that our army headed by Vytautas the Great and King Jogaila (both were Belarusians by birth) defeated the strongest army of that time – Teutons headed by Grand Master Ulrich von Jungingen exactly 599 years ago. Our armies won and saved the world from Teutonic occupation.
