Man sets himself on fire near Minsk Town Hall, get summoned to police
Mihail Kauko has been asked to come to the police office by phone.
The young man who set his hands on fire near Minsk Town Hall has been summoned to the police. Film-maker Mihail Kauko organized the performance on December 25. A Christmas event was being held there at that moment. He was holding the poster “Association of the Deaf: You will be on fire and they will not care!”. He put on special gloves and set his hands on fire.
The action was conducted in support of the hearing-impaired. Such people cannot contact rescuers in an emergency situation.
The young man received a phone call from the police and was asked to come to the police office to discuss ‘articles that had been published in mass media’. He is going to do it with a lawyer at 10 a.m. on December 30, the organizer of the performance wrote on Facebook.
