Makushok: "Godfather" increased the number of Lukashenka’s supporters in Russia

The films “Godfather” shown on the NVT will only increase the number of supporters of Alyaksandr Lukashenka. Ivan Makushok, the press secretary of the state secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Pavel Baradzin claimed it in an interview with ERB. Makushok: “All those films they showed in the prime time and advertised on their channel, all those films may play a trick on the channel. The effect may be quite the opposite. As far as we know, the number of Alyaksandr Ryhoravich’s supporters has not decreased in Russia. And the attitude to Belarus has not changed in Russia either”.

Speaking about the interview with the Georgian President Mihail Saakashvili shown on the Belarusian TV and disliked by the Kremlin, Makushok noted that there was nothing terrible about it. He said that Saakashvili had mentioned a lot of good things about Russians. Baradzin’s press secretary does not think Lukashenka is going to make friends with Saakashvili to oppose to Russia.
