Lukashenka, Solana discuss Belarus-EU cooperation

Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenka on September 24 had a phone conversation with Javier Solana, EU High Representative for Foreign Relations and Security Policy.
They discussed a number of issues associated with the internal political situation in Belarus and the whole spectrum of cooperation between this country and the European Union. It was stressed that a new page in the relations between Belarus and EU should be opened, reports Belapan.

Lukashenka and Solana agreed to continue a dialogue after the EU high-ranking official returns from New York where he is taking part in the UN General Assembly's annual session.
