Lukashenka orders to start criminal cases in Slutsk
Belarus president orders inquiries into negligence cases after visiting a flax mill and meat-packing plant in Slutsk.
He ordered to start criminal cases in connection with negligence. Lukashenka noticed that flax gathered in 2012 was kept in the open air and that the territory of the enterprise was not even fenced, Interfax-West reports. It was not a ‘planned’ visit.
"This is a terrible mess, there is no owner: nobody comes here and it seems that nobody needs it,” Lukashenka said. The state leader told head of the Agriculture and Nutrition Committee of Minsk City Executive Committee Vital Hryshanau: “You will either become director here or go to prison tomorrow. It is up to you to choose.”
