Less than 5% of state websites explain how to complain about officials

The survey was conducted by the centre of legal transformation Lawtrend.

Alyaksei Kazlyuk: “The authorities do not want to explain how people can complain about their actions. Less than 1% presented at least some information about the ways of appealing officials’ decisions in court. Less than 5% mentioned the fact that officials’ decisions could be appealed with the help of higher authorities.”

Specialists of the centre Lawtrend analyzed 45 websites belonging to Ministries, state inspectorates and centres. They did not analyze the President’s website and the judicial system websites.
