Krystsina Shatikava’s trial is put off

The hearing of the case of a well-known civil activist Krystsina Shatsikava has taken place in Pershamaiski District Court of Vitsebsk today.
She got the notice of appointment on June 8 when she came to Pershamaiski District Department of the Interior as a witness.

Our reporter Yadvіha Stasheuskaya attended the trial:

“Krystsina Shatsikava is accused of participation in an unapproved picket and disobedience to the police. The judge Valyantsina Kisnyaroshkina put the trial off to June 14”.

Let us remind you that people who came to the building of Pershamaiski District Court to support a human rights defender Valery Shchykin on June 6 were detained by the police. He was accused of insulting members of election commissions. The son of Krystsina Shatsikava was beaten by the police while trying to protect his mother.
