“KRIWI” records club album and returns to stage

Moreover, the leader of the band Veranika Kruhlova is studying business German and organises performances with little children.
As ERB has found out, the band “KRIWI” has started recording a new album after a long-term break and is going to resume its concert activities. Veranika Kruhlova looks very happy:

Veranіka Kruhlova: “We are recording a new album now and we have not invented a title for it yet. “KRIWI” is growing fast: we are getting ready for a tour and are going to give a lot of concerts. I am very happy”.

“KRIWI” is an international band although Belarusian musicians are recording the album. Among them are former musicians from “Kalahari” – Nasta Hmel (Jahbiboom, Happy3friends), Ihar Harbacheuski (Happy3friends), Veranika’s niece Valeryya Valadzko (Harotnitsa) and sister, singer Sveta Kruhlova.

According to Veranika Kruhlova, the new album of “KRIWI” will differ from its predecessors  due to its club orientation, however, it will not be devoid of ethnic elements:

Veranіka Kruhlova: “We are not going to betray ethnic music, but we are keeping our style up to date and want to show our amateurs the stylish club music meant for large stages and clubs at the same time. It will be a kind of musical synthesis”.

Let us remind you that Veranika has been living in Berlin for several years already and that she is bringing up her little daughter Dominica. Furthermore, the singer has decided to study business German because she feels that spoken German is not enough to run her own business. Veranika dreams of devoting her life to children and musical pedagogics.

Veranіka Kruhlova: “I am also a pedagogue here. I have children to organize musical performances with. I am going to continue working in this field. I can’t keep jumping in the stage until I’m a hundred years old!”

The next concert of Veranika Kruhlova and “KRIWI” will take place during the Carnival of Cultures in Berlin on May 30.
