Kiev sniper shoots in Prosecutor General’s window in working time
A sniper shot in the window of Prosecutor General Victor Shokin when he was conducting a meeting at work on the evening of November 2. Nobody was wounded. The Ukrainian Security Service is investigating the incident.
The shooting started when VR members were collecting signatures in support of the Prosecutor General’s resignation. The photos of Shokin’s huge house uploaded to the Internet had caused a scandal earlier. Leader of the party UKROP Gennady Korban known for his criticism of the authorities was detained after that.
