Journalist Pavel Sheremet killed in Kyiv 2 years ago; murder remains unresolved

Well-known journalist Pavel Sheremet was killed in a car explosion in Kyev two years ago. The murder is remains unsolved and the names of his killers and their customers are unknown despite the fact that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko called the investigation ‘a matter of honour’, hromadske.ua reports.
 

Sheremet died on the morning of July 20, 2016. His car was blown up at the intersection of Ivan Franko and Bogdan Khmetnitsly Streets. The journalist spent some time working in Russia after leaving Belarus. Then he moved to Kiev where he worked for the radio Vesti and Ukrainian Pravda for 5 years. Actions to commemorate Pavel Sheremet will be held in Kyiv and Minsk on July 20.
