Journalist Algerd Neviarouski dies at 40

Journalist Algerd Neviarouski died on October 1 in the Polish city of Bialystok. Educated as a Catholic priest, he worked for almost 20 years in journalism, including newspapers Naviny, Svaboda and Nasha Svaboda.

He also cooperated with BELSAT TV and internet-based radio tut.by. This year he worked as a journalist and news editor at the Bialystok-based Radio Racija. On September 19 he suffered a heart attack and was taken to a hospital unconscious. He turned 40 on August 19. The European Radio for Belarus is expressing condolences to his family, relatives and friends.
