Inflation to reach 14-14.5 percent in 2008: Kabyakow

Inflation will hover around 14-14.5 percent by the end of this year, Belarus's Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Kabyakow said on November 28, addressing the members of parliament. He reminded that after 10 months the inflation in Belarus reached 10.5 percent or an average of 1 percent per month. Russia reported 11.6 percent inflation after 10 months, and Ukraine -- 18 percent.

According to Mr Kabyakow, the growing prices are influenced by external factors, especially growing costs of energy resources in the world, reports the official news agency Belta.
