Belarus's goalkeeper Andrei Mezin is likely to miss the world championship in Canada, writes Pressball newspaper.
The keeper noted: "I recently divorced. Naturally, it does not leave bright impressions… But the stress affected my performance during the last season… I was always distracted by the thoughts other than hockey for the whole year. I am emotionally exhausted and need to sort some things out. Therefore, I cannot guarantee that I can join the Belarus national team. I am used to always strive for the best results, so I will not stand in anyone's way".
