Higher utilities bills for higher-comfort housing from June 1

Effective from June 1, 2010, owners of the higher-comfort housing will pay fully for their utilities services, under the Council of Ministers resolution No 639, reports Belapan. The measure applies to the residential quarters with the square over 200 sq.m. which are equipped with drinking water, central heating, hot water, sewage system ventilation and power supplies from the central, local or individual systems.

Currently, the owners of such property pay only 30 percent of utilities bills.

They will also pay 100 percent of costs for technical maintenance and heating of the quarters if no one is officially registered there.
