High heels may be banned in Belarus
Gumshoes may also be forbidden due to amendments that may be added to the technical regulations of the Customs Union.
A request for this ban has been sent by the Russian parliament Duma (endorsed by Just Russia's Oleg Miheyev) to the head of the Eurasian Economic Commission Victor Khristenko today, Izvestya reports. The move is explained by the orthopaedic safety concerns.

It was reported earlier that the member states of the Customs Union (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) may ban synthetic lingerie in the summer of 2014.
