Government amends procedures for foreign market vendors

The Belarus government has passed a resolution to introduce amendments in the rules of trade at market places for foreign citizens or non-citizens who temporarily live in this country, reports the official news agency Belta.
The Ministry of Trade said the new regulation effective from December 10 requires that foreign nationals and non-citizens obtain a special permit for entrepreneurship in order to be able to trade at market outlets.

Under the resolution, the administration of a market place cannot allow foreigners to trade without this permit.
