The gold hulled yacht Stefania has been auctioned in France. It was first put up for sale a year ago, but now the French asset forfeiture agency is selling the yacht for half the original price, noted Radio Liberty.

The vessel is almost new, with only 200 hours on the main engines and almost no scratches on the hull. The Stefania yacht was built by Dynamiq of Monaco at a shipyard in Turkey. The ship is 41 meters long.

It is reported that the ship was seized during an investigation into money laundering by an unnamed Belarusian billionaire. Neither the details of the case nor the name of the Belarusian are being disclosed.

The auction is scheduled for January 25, with live bidding taking place at the International Yacht Club Antibes helipad. It is expected that the lot will be bought for about $ 8-10 million.
