Ghetto victims monument vandalized in downtown Brest
A monument to the victims of the Ghetto in Brest was vandalized in the city center in the night of May 10.
The unknown vandals burnt all the wreathes and flowers in front of the monument, which became black becauae of the smoke. The police worked at the scene yesterday.
They say a criminal case will be opened over the matter. The monument was erected in memory of 34,000 local Jews, executed by the Nazis.
