General Charhinets to remind Germany about genocide in response to EU’s black list”

Almost 160 Belarusian officials including the head of the state union of writers Mikalai Charhinets are on the EU’s “black list”. In response to the sanctions he would like to make Germany look back at the problem of genocide of the Belarusian people in the wartime. Charhinets: "If it is confirmed, I will initiate the necessity to consider the German genocide of the Belarusian people [during the Great patriotic War] using all my power in many countries”.

Mіkalai Charhіnets usually spends his vacations in Belarus, Sochi, he has visited Turkey and the Balkans, but is not eager to visit Germany or Poland.

Charhіnets: "I have travelled all over the world. If I can’t go to Europe, I will go to Braslav, the scenery there is more beautiful than in Germany. I have seen Europe. There are good, well-groomed cities and they are usually too expensive for us. To cut it short, we will do without them”.
