Gas for Belarus in 2008 to cost $201
Russian gas monopoly Gazprom forecasts that an average cost of the Russian gas in Europe will amount to $300 per 1000 cubic meter in 2008, Gazprom Vice Chairman of the Board Alexander Medvedev told the Russian news agency Ria-Novosti.
Under the Belarus-Russia gas deal, this country will have to pay to Gazprom 67 percent of the average cost in Europe.
If the figure, voiced by Medvedev remains unchanged, Belarus will pay $201 per 1000 cubic meters of the Russian gas in 2008.
