Former BUMM activist Syarhei Chyslau is detained in Minsk

KGB members have detained a former member of the Belarusian Union of Military Men Syarhei Chyslau in Minsk. He is in the confinement cell in Akrestsina Street now. “Radio Liberty” informs about it.

Chyslau was arrested on July 7 after searches conducted in his flat and in his mother’s summer house. KGB members were looking for explosives.

Syarhei Chyslau was the leader of the “White Legion” organization at the end of the 90s. It does not exist anymore. Chyslau lived in Moscow doing business there until recently.
