Football: BATE vs Slavia (video)
The 13th round games of the Belarusian football championship in the top league took place on Wednesday.
BATE Barysau smashed Slavia Mazyr - 6:1. Alyaksandr Paulau and Dzmitry Baha scored twice, Vital Radzivonau and Alyaksandr Hleb scored once (Hleb - after a penalty kick). Shakhtar Salihorsk defeated Dynama Brest - 5:0. Pavel Snitko scored twice - he remains the best striker of the tournament with 9 goals. Alyaksei Ryos scored twice.
Other results of the 13th round: Naftan vs Homel - 0:0, Dnepr vs Tarpeda BelAZ - 0:4 (all scored by Vyachaslau Hleb, one - a penalty kick), Minsk FC vs Dynama Minsk - 1:2. Nyoman grabbed a victory over Belshyna - 2:1.
Slavia scored only 4 times for the whole season (13 games), while BATE have the best result in the top league with 26 goals.
Shakhtar top the table with 32 points, BATE follow with 26, then go Homel (21) and Dynama Minsk (20).
The next round will take place on June 23-24. Shakhtar will play against Homel away, while BATE will face Belshyna in Babruisk.
