Football: BATE vs Shakhtar game to be postponed to play it at new stadium
BATE's next to last home game is scheduled on November 3. The game between the two principal rivals should open the new stadium in Barysau.
If BATE do not lose to Nyoman in the 28th round and defeat Shakhtar afterwards, the Barysau club will become champions of Belarus for the 10th time (8 in a row).
According to Goals.by, the game BATE vs Shakhtar may be postponed till Thursday, November 7 - this is a weekend, the same as November 3.
At the same time, much work still needs to be done at the new stadium. BATE Spokesman Syarhei Dashkevich confessed to Euroradio that he didn't know whether the club would manage to play at the new stadium by the end of the year. Apart from Shakhtar, BATE have only one home game in hand - against Homel on December 1.
