Football: Barcelona to wire $635K for Alex Hleb to Belarus
Spain's footbal federation and FC Barcelona have officially confirmed the pledge to wire money to Belarus-based football clubs Dinamo and BATE Borisov for the nourishing of Alexander Hleb, Barcelona's 27-year-old midfielder, according to the FIFA solidarity procedures. Dinamo is expected to recieve around $480,000, while FC BATE will get nearly $155,000.
Dinamo and BATE had earlier received similar payments from the London-based side Arsenal. Under the FIFA procedures, this money should be spent for the development of the junior football in the country.
