Five opposition youths are to stand trial on Monday for staging an unauthorized demonstration in central Minsk on November 7.

Nasta Palazhanka, Tatsyana Shaputsko, Nasta Loyka, Anton Rusin and Alyaksey Yanusheuski of the Malady Front youth group were apprehended after they unfolded the sign that said "Put Communism on Trial" near a bust of KGB founder Feliks Dzyarzhynski in Minsk.

The youths have been held at the pretrial detention center on Akrestsina Street in Minsk since then, said the press office of malady Front.
