Fight in metro. Security guards arrive late?

A fight started in a carriage of Minsk metro on July 13, Yuliya Hlashchankova wrote on Facebook. A man started beating another person at the station Spartuynaya. She started pressing the button of urgent connection with the engine driver to call for help.

However, security guards arrived only two stations later.

"What is security guards’ professionalism about?” Yuliya asked. “A fight starts in a carriage, and you have to wait for 2 (!) stations to talk to the engine driver. Other passengers are trying to stop the fight and it turns into a mass thing. Then security guards appear and take the fighting men with them. You shout: don’t you want to talk to witnesses? One of the security guards looks at you as if he wanted to say ‘f…ck off’ and shouts: call the police.”

Yuliya phoned the police and they said that they did not know anything about the incident.

The fighting people were detained and an investigation is in process, the metro press service told Euroradio. The fight started somewhere between the stations Pushkinskaya and Maladzyozhnaya, Minsk police press secretary Alyaksandr Lastouski said later.

"Two people born in 1990 and 1976 were probably drunk. They had never met before. They started fighting due to mutual hostility.”

Yuliya Hlashchankova was summoned to the police and learnt the details later. The infringers who frightened passengers have already made it up, she said.
