Export of Belarusian goods decreases by half

The Belarusian export to all countries decreased by 43.3% in the first nine months of the year in comparison with the same period of 2008. It totalled 15 billion 9.1 million dollars. The import decreased by 34.8% (to 20 billion 30.4 million dollars) in the same period, reports the National Statistics Committee. Belarus supplied its goods to 135 countries and imported products from 167 states. The main trade partners of our country were: Russia – 47% of the turnover, the Netherlands – 7.9%, Germany – 6.2%, Ukraine – 5.9%, Latvia – 3.5%, Poland – 3.3% and China – 2.5%, notes BelaPAN.
