Ex-political prisoner Alyaksandr Malchanau admitted to hospital
The former political prisoner is in Barysau's central hospital, having suffered from internal bleeding in the stomach.
Civil activist Yuliya Stsyapanava told BelaPAN news agency the young man went to see a doctor earlier today. His blood test came out very bad. Malchanau was immediately admitted on suspicion of ulser and internal bleeding. He will probably undergo an operation soon.
Malchanau lives with his handicapped father in Barysau with no relatives or friends being able to help him. An adult person is needed now to bring all the necessary things to Malchanau and talk to doctors, Ststyapanava said. Malchanau's economic standing is not good now, because he has to stay under police supervision in Barysau. He cannot move to Minsk where he could find a job.
