EU to urge Russia not to isolate itself from the rest of Europe

The European Union will urge Russia not to isolate itself from the rest of Europe. The Associated Press agency has informed about it referring to the draft of the final appeal prepared for participants of the special EU summit taking place in Brussels. The document says that the actions of Russia in Georgia are “unacceptable” from the point of view of the international legislation and that they “put the relations between the European Union and Russia at the crossroads”. The draft of the appeal also says that the EU may discuss the necessity of the dialogue with Russia in a number of issues”.

At the same time, participants of the summit are ready to announce their decision to improve relations with Georgia, reports RIA Novosti.
