Entrepreneurship activist Ales Taustyka sentenced to 15 days of arrest

Ales Taustyka, an entrepreneur and an activist with the For Freedom! movement, has been sentenced by Minsk's Central District Court to 15 days of administrative arrest. He was detained today in Minsk and charged with taking an active part in the January 10 unauthorized protest of small-size entrepreneurs in the Belarusian capital. His health condition dropped rapidly during the trial, and the police promised to call an amulance to the Central District Police Department where the entrepreneur was to be taken before serving his term in a police custody, reports the press office of Alexander Milinkevich.

The list of detainees also sentenced to 15 days of arrest for staging the January 10 protest now includes Anatol Shumchanka, Aliaksandr Makayeu and Syarhey Parsyukevich.
