Elections: Early voting taking place in Belarus

Early voting to elect members of the House of Representatives in Belarus kicked off on September 23.
According to Belapan, early voting will be available within five days through September 27. Polling stations will be opened from 1000 to 1900. Voters will not be required to explain why they need to vote early.

The United Pro-Democracy Forces (UDF) maintain that early voting is used by the authorities to falsify the results of the elections. Siarhei Kalyakin, the leader of the Party of Communists, has called on voters not to vote early.
