Elections: Candidates will get Br1.75mn to print campaign leaflets

Each candidate for a seat in the House of Representatives will receive Br 1.75 million ($850) to print their campaign leaflets, Lidzia Yarmoshyna, the chairperson of the Central Elections Commission, said in a statement Tuesday. The money was budgeted based on 6 candidates per one constituency. However, only 4.5 candidates are currently anticipated, she said.

In the view of Yarmoshyna, this figure will not change greatly by the time of the registration of candidates, reports Interfax.
