“Dazhynki-2009” to start in Kobryn today
A republican village workers’ festival “Dazhynki-2009” will start in Kobryn today.
BelaTA informs that markets and expositions have opened in the town this morning. Shopping malls will create a 7-km line.
Attractions and mass outings have been organized for adults and children. Ensembles from all over Belarus will give concerts on the town’s four stages.
A procession of guests of honour, ensembles and the participants of “Dazhynki” will begin the official part of the festival.
Traditionally, winners of the cleaning competition will get second and third prizes on the first day of the festival. A concert and festive fireworks will take place in the evening.
